It’s Just a Symbol

Corn seems to be everywhere. We eat it, in one form or another. We use it to power our rides. It generates all kinds of overtones of our lives. Many of us have never even seen it, or paid attention to it. But it is there driving out lives and it is beautiful, and it seems to be everywhere.

Lined up like an army, with all sorts of rhythms and patterns defining the massive space of our rural country. It has power and an attitude, but is still vulnerable.
